Because we are really an Imperialist country today and no longer a Democracy we should be true to blood lines in all respects! That adopted child should always indeed retain his fathers biological surname so we know who will be poorly motivated to conform with freedom and who will be legitimate leadership of the free world!
Some of us in the community want to know who is responsible for fathering the fatherless sons and daughters! That sounds like a classy idea to me!
And when Republicans don't like Democrats it is really that they don't like that English P.O.S.
